Rally ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your
information when you use the Rally mobile application and related services
(collectively, the "Service").
By using Rally, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance
with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
- Email address (used for authentication and communication)
- Phone number (optional, for contact purposes)
- Full name and display name
- Profile photo (optional, uploaded by you)
- Birthday and anniversary dates (optional, used for member profiles)
Location data

GPS coordinates at the time of check-in — collected only when you tap
"Mark Attendance" for a physical program and you have granted location permission.
We do not track your location continuously or in the background.

For virtual programs, no location data is collected.
Attendance and participation records
- Programs you attend, check-in timestamps, and check-in method (QR code, GPS, virtual)
- Group and unit membership within your organization
Device and usage data
- Push notification tokens (for sending event reminders)
- App version, operating system type (iOS / Android)
- Error and crash logs (anonymized, used only for debugging)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and manage your account
- To verify attendance at physical or virtual programs
- To display attendance reports and records to authorized administrators within your organization
- To send push notifications about upcoming programs and reminders (you may opt out in device settings)
- To generate QR codes for check-in purposes
- To improve app stability and fix bugs using anonymized error logs
- To communicate important service or account updates
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Within your organization: Administrators and team leads of your
organization can view your attendance records, profile name, and role as part of
the core functionality of the Service.

Service providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication)
and Firebase (push notifications) to operate the Service. These providers process
data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security policies.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by
law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Rally or its users.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to
provide the Service. Attendance records are retained for the operational period of
your organization's use of Rally. You may request deletion of your account and
associated data at any time (see Section 7).
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission
(HTTPS/TLS), row-level security policies on our database, and authenticated access
controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and
we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
Rally is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us
with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Opt out of push notifications via your device settings
- Withdraw location permission at any time via your device settings (this will disable GPS check-in for physical programs)
